This is my new blog entry.

Today is a beautiful day in West Virginia. After having some snow this week, we are now back up into the high 60's approaching 70. The leaves are at their peak color. Fall is in its glory.

I have taken this time to practice updating my blog.

Trip to Las Vegas

I had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas this past spring. While the famous town was fun, there were so many interesting things right out of town. I had the opportunity to hike through Red Rock Canyon. This is a picture of the beautiful view in one of the state parks.

RSS Feeds
I understand that our topic for next week is the study of RSS Feeds. I am very appreciative of this topic coming early in this course. This course could not be more timely for me. On Friday, I received a call asking me to prepare RSS feeds for our First Lady and her Education site. A situation that is hard to say "no" to. It is a good thing that I will be finding out what RSS feeds are all about.

This is the start of a journal covering interesting thoughts and reflections on our course. I find that this course is so timely for my needs. Each day I am receiving challenges to use these new Web 2.0 tools. Having this course to understand these tools is so timely and reflective of my daily work. I hope to continue to use this dialog opportunity to reflect on the concepts we are learning and how I am using them immediately at work.
